FBW #187

The challenge at Flutter By Wednesday this week is open, no restrictions as long as it has something that flutters.

This card is A2 size.  My image is from S.W.A.L.K., colored with copic markers.  I used a nestabilities die to cut the image.  The butterfly is a $1 stamp from Michaels and is popped up using foam tape.  The sentiment is from Stampin Up.

This card will be donated to Operation Write Home.

Have an awesome day!

Would you EVER guess Wednesday

Today in Erica's Craft Room it's "Would you ever guess Wednesday" or "WYEGW".  The object of WYEGW is to use anything but the main features of  your Cricut cartridge.  There are so many more options than just the displayed image on the back of the cartridge box.  To see more projects visit Erica's blog at  http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com

For my project I used Rock Princess Cricut cartridge- page 75 the heart font feature.  I cut my shadow and regular heart musical notes in 1.5 inches.  The stamped images are from Stampin UP! and colored with copic markers.  The scalloped edges were made with a Fishars punch.  Both white strips were embossed with the cuttlebug.

These two cards are being donated to Operation Write Home.

Thanks for visiting!  Have an awesome day!

Tuesday January 3

Today project for Erica's Craft Room involves the use of Cuttlebug folders.  Visit her blog at  http://mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com/ for more projects.

 I made a birthday card.

The solid blue cardstock was ran through the cuttlebug with the crazy circles.  I used leftover "Happy" birthday paper to make a pocket for my tag.  The tag was made from Tags, Bags and Boxes Cricut cartridge and cut at 3.5 inches.  I stamped the tag with a Happy Birthday stamp from Stampin Up!.  The birthday chick is from Once Upon a Princess.

This card will be donated to Operation Write Home.

Thanks for visiting!  Have an awesome day.

Stamping Up! --Card clean up day

These four cards were made for my Mom's 60th birthday celebration.  I made her 60 birthday cards, but only signed one so she'd have 59 blank birthday cards to use!

From My Kitchen cricut cartridge-- thinking of you

I'm in Cricut exploration mode!  This old fashion phone (and yes, unfortunately I *do* remember using this type of phone growing up!) was cut at 3.5 inches.  It's from the cricut cartridge From My Kitchen.  I doodled with a white and black gen pen.

The sentiment is from Stamping Up!

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day!

OWH-VCMP Challenge #3-- Unique Christmas

Challenge #3 is from Barb at Paper Therapy Ponderings.  The challenge is to create a unique Christmas card  that doesn't use traditional Christmas colors.

I have been waiting to use my new Bingo card stamp from SU! every since I got it!  The card is bigger than the average OWH cards, so I'll be using this card as hero mail at Christmas time.

Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

Who doesn't like a naked cowboy???

Imagine my delight when I found this stamp!  As you may or may not know, I have this thing about bathtubs.  This guy in his boots and hat in the tub with his hairy legs just makes me smile.  The image is from Rubbernecker, the image was colored with copic markers.  I used nestabilities to cut the image and the shadow.  The sentiment is from Staming Up.

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day.
