Cow Day Part Three....
Last July was Cow Day #1, last October was Cow Day #2 and today is Cow Day #3! Today I'm sharing Cow Day with my friend Danni at Danni's Dreams. We are planning on more theme days in the future. If you don't already, follow her, she's *AWESOME*.
I have three cow cards made especially for Cow theme day.
This cow image comes from High Hopes stamps. I colored them with copic markers. The sentiment is from The Angel Company. I added the stars for bling. This card will be donated to Operation Write Home.
This image and sentiment are from The Angel Company. The sentiment is stamped on a die cut from nestabilities. I also embossed the die cut for the first time, really makes a difference! This card will also be donated to Operation Write Home.
Now, for my favorite Cow Card........
I admit that I didn't design this card myself. I watched a YouTube video a while back that showed a card similiar to this one and I LOVED it! The barn and cow are from Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. The fence is from Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge. The grass and the clouds are from A|Muse Studio. Love that grass die! The card is 5.5x5.5.
Don't forge to check out Danni's blog to see her cow day creations!
Have an awesome day,
Sheila

My projects have a theme! Unintentional, it just sort of happened that way. My theme is babies. I used five different cartridges....CTMH Art Philosophy, Paper Dolls Dress Up, All Mixed Up, B is for Boy, and Baby Steps.
The Rocking Horse card uses Paper Dolls Dress Up and CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridges. The card base uses Art Philosophy cartridge, page 63. I used the card (cut at 5 inches), layer 1 and the square are both cut at 4.53 inches. The rocking horse comes from Paper Dolls Dress Up, pg 36 accessory and is cut at 4.88 inches. I used my white and black gel pen to doodle around the edges. I used crystal, glam pink and cinnamon stickles to decorate the rocking horse.
This card uses Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. I cut the outfit at 4 inches, using a white gel pen to doodle down the sides and the top of the pocket. The card base is 6x6. I glued down blue gems in the corners.
This card is so adorable! The base is 6x6. I used All Mixed Up and B is for Boy Cricut cartridges. Baby and girl were cut from All Mixed Up at 1.47 inches. Zebra is from B is for Boy and cut at 4.41 inches. I used light purple twine to wrap around my pattern paper.
Here's the entire line up! Up next is Kathy!

Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop- Day Two
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop. You should have arrived from Connie's blog.
If you are randomly arrived at my blog, you can go back to the beginning HERE. Don't worry, there are not 100 blogs to view, but we've used 100 cartridges. I used six different cartridges to make my three projects.
This fun card was made with Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge. This Pixy and her accessories are cut at 3 inches. I hid the face features using my gypsy so I could use Peachy Keen Fun Kiddie Face stamp. The card is an A2 size and will be donated to Operation Write Home. I image that some little girl will be ecstatic about getting a cute pixy in the mail from her Daddy.
This card didn't come together like I thought it would but in the end I'm pleased with the design. The tree is cut from the Meow Cricut cartridge at 4 inches. I ran the green part of the tree through the Cuttlebug for added dimension. The farmer and his clothes are cut from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge at 3 inches. I used Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll Face stamp and a white gel pen to his hair, hat and clothes. I used chalk to make grass and the sky. I made the sentiment on my computer.
This card was so fun to make!! I used the card feature function on Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge to cut the card shape at 11 inches. I cut the pattern paper at 10 inches and cut the ends off to adhere to my card base. The "Thanks" is from Lyrical Letter Cricut cartridge, cut at 2.25 inches. I used foam tape on the back of the Thanks to pop it up from the page. The stars are from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge, it's a part of the border feature and cut at 1/2 inch. I used pop dots for the stars as well. I thought this card looked like a tootsie roll. My inside sentiment says "You are the sweetest".
Here's an close up:
Hope you enjoyed seeing how I used five different Cricut cartridges to make these three card projects.

25 Days of Christmas- Animals
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.
Today's 25 days of Christmas project theme is Animals. I am showing you two different projects. A card and a food items.
Here are my projects....
This is a 6x6 card. I used dark blue cardstock for the base, a green cardstock matting my pattern paper. The dog house and the dog are cuts from Every Day Paper Dolls. The house is cut at 4 inches and embellished with stickles. The dog is cut at 2.5 inches, Peachy Keen Critter Stamp and embellished with stickles. The Christmas lights are from Create A Critter and cut at 1 inch. I made the Yappy Howlidays sentiment on my computer.
My second project of the day are homemade dog treats!
I made these treats using oil, water, peanut butter, wheat flour and oats. *My dogs LOVE these!*
Since I am giving these treats away as gifts, I made a tag to go with them.
The Wag-O-Meter comes from Paper Pups and is cut at 1.75 inches. I used stickles to make the centers of the a, g, o and e's. I used pop dots to raise up the arrow. The dog face is from the Cricut Cartridge Doodlecharms and is cut at 2 inches, decorated with stickles. I used clear acrylic stones to make the paw print.
My package turned out great! I used paw print bags, and stapled my tag in the middle. Here's a look at the whole lot:
Stinkin' cute!! Hope you enjoyed my projects!
Have an awesome day,
Sheila

25 Days of Christmas- Sports
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.
Today's 25 days of Christmas project theme is Sports. I am showing you a project using Peachy Keen Stamps.
Here is my project....
I started with making a Paper Doll from Everyday Paper Dolls, cut at 4 inches. I used my gypsy to hid the facial cuts. I made her face using Peachy Keen 1 inch basic Paper Doll Assortment. All of the papers are American Crafts Cardstock. I used a white gel pen on her shoes and innertube, a black gel pen on her hat and scarf. I colored in her skin with a copic marker.
I used Spellbinders Creative Book Pages for the Grand Caliber to cut out my purple, gray and patern paper backgrounds. The white cardstock is embossed with the snowflake cuttlebug folder. I hand wrote in a white gel pen in the bottom left corner of the gray cardstock "winter 2009".
Framed my project. I'm planning on adding in some snowflakes onto the frame in the near future.
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day!

Wedding Card and Paper Dolls
Today my baby brother is getting married. I'm excited for him and wish nothing but happiness for both of them. My gift to my brother is actually a regift of something I've had for years. It was a gift to me from a dear friend but it just wasn't me. I know you can relate to that! So I'm passing it on...and no, I won't tell you what it is just in case that person checks out my blog someday. LOL
I had my Mom write a poem for the gift and I made paper dolls to go on the packaging.
I cut my paper dolls at 5.5 inches. Biggest paper dolls I've ever made!! The wedding colors are brown and blue, that's why his tux is brown with blue stickles. I added pop dots to his tux jacket and to her flowers to make them raise up. Look closely at his hair....I gave him a "salt and pepper" look with a white gel pen. LOL...He's gonna kill me for that. The faces are from Peachy Keen stamps. I used stickles on the bride's flowers and dress. These dolls look totally AWESOME in person.
Here's a close up of each:
This is my best and favorite project of the week! I'm linking it up to Some Odd Girl's Linky Party.

I had my Mom write a poem for the gift and I made paper dolls to go on the packaging.
Here's a close up of each:
I sure hope they make the journey across the country in one peace! I'm not checking baggage, they'll be with me at all times, they might just have a chance.
Here is the card I made them.
This too is a huge card. The circle alone is 5 1/4 inches! The stamp is from S.W.A.L.K.
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

Cupcake blog hop!
It's a cupcake kind of weekend...for many reasons! Today I am participating in a cupcake blog hop. You should have arrived from the ever so talented Lisa of Honeybearz Designs.
If you just stumbled across my post and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to Bernice's Sweet Escape!
In addition to being the cupcake blog hop weekend, this is also my birthday weekend. The card I made for the cupcake hop is a card for my birthday....to me, from me.
I love to bake....cupcakes, cookies, dog treats, brownies, cakes....etc. I paired my baking girl from the Cricut cartridge Everyday Paper Dolls with some cupcake pattern paper. It's hard to tell in the photo but I did cut out two of the cupcakes and popped them up with dimensional tape to make them stand out, in addition to the cupcake my paper doll is holding in her hand. The solid blue cardstock are scraps that I cut with a nestabilities die. I used twinery twine to wrap around the cardstock. My paper doll is cut at 3.5 inches, the hair and clothing are all from my scrap stash. Paper Dolls are a great way to cut down on your scraps hanging about!
Here is a sample of some cupcakes I've baked in the past month!
Don't those just look yummmmmmmmy??!!!
Your next stop along the Cupcake blog hop is Martha from A Scrapping Time. Enjoy the rest of your hop and everyday is a good day to have a cupcake! =)

I simply love Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge. Every time I make a new character I think it turns out better and better. This one is just too cute!! My paper doll is cut at 3.5 inches. The I (heart) 2 Bake stamp and the Kiss the Cook stamp are from a set I got at Hobby Lobby.

Should a grown woman have this much fun playing with paper dolls?? I think so!! This paper doll is particular was made prior to the arrival of my peachy keen face stamps. Fireman- Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge- Missing You card

You're never too old to play with Paper Dolls! I made this fireman before I got my fun Peachy Keen face stamps. I outlined the fireman's outfit with a white gel pen. I cute my fireman at 3.5", most of my cuts from this cartridge are always at 3.5".
I added some ric rac ribbon on the bottom. The sentiment was made on my computer.
This card is going to find a new home through Operation Write Home. I imagine that there will be a very happy little boy out there somewhere getting this card from his Daddy or Mommy while they are apart.
Thanks so much for looking. Have an awesome day.

Altered composition book using Cricut Paper Dolls Cartridge and Blog Bunny Hop Winner!

For the first time in over a year I joined a swap on cricut.com! The swap was a girly girl composition book. I started with lining both sides of my book with American Crafts dark pinkish/purpleish cardstock. I added a strip of pink/yellow striped paper then pink and brown bubble paper. I randomly placed bling on my bubble paper inside the bubbles. I used my Cricut to cut out a cute little inner tube girl from Cricut Paper Dolls (not sure if it was Everyday or Dress Up). I added a pink ribbon along the edge of the book. I hope my swap partner likes it!
I had a great time this weekend with the OWH bunny blog hop! The winner of my blog candy, as picked by random.org is: #10 Teresa! Teresa send me an email with your address and I'll get your candy in the mail this week! Thanks to everyone that visited my blog over the weekend and made comments.
Have a great day!
