June 100 Cricut Cartridge Hop

This is my last 100 Cricut cartridge Hop.

Airplane is from Paper Pups.  Image is cut at 2.41 inches, sentiment is from My Pink Stamper.

Yummy looking ice cream is from Sugar and Spice Lite Cricut cartridge, cut at 3.94 inches.  Sentiment is from The Stamps of Life.  Also used the cuttlebug for embossing.

I love how this cricut cut from Life's a Beach turned out!!  It's cut at 3.94 inches.  The sentiment is from The Angel Company (now closed).  I used yellow stickles on the pineapple.

Doesn't that make you *crave* an umbrella drink??!!??  =)

Up next is Rachel!

Have an awesome weekend!

Flutter by Wednesday #185

Today is a special Flutter by Wednesday for me!  My friend Danni that runs the Flutter By challenges and I have a mini challenge among the two of us.  Last month at our monthly craft meeting we both purchased two bottles of really bright stickles.

Aren't they pretty??  I just love bright colors!  The challenge between Danni and I is to use our bright stickles on today's Flutter By card.

The real challenge at Flutter By for this week is to get rid of the winter blah's and use bright colors.  Here is my card!

My card is just shy of being 6x6.  I used a black American Crafts cardstock base.  I used black because I wanted my bright colors to really pop off.  My pattern paper is from DCWV...two different past sets but amazingly the colors are exactly the same.  My butterfly border was made with the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge.  I used the border feature on the cartridge.  My image is from My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line.  The sentiment came with the image.  (Isn't she adorable???  The sentiment is what sold me on this stamp though.)

I used my stickles on my butterfly border:

and on my sentiment:
and on my image!  (Her hair flower, dress buttons and shoes)

Be sure to stop by Danni's blog to see what she did with her stickles!

Have an awesome day!

Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop- Day Two

My Cricut Craft Room 100 Cartridge Hop

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room 100 Cricut Cartridge Blog Hop.  You should have arrived from Connie's blog.

If you are randomly arrived at my blog, you can go back to the beginning  HERE.  Don't worry, there are not 100 blogs to view, but we've used 100 cartridges.  I used six different cartridges to make my three projects.

This fun card was made with Paper Doll Dress Up Cricut cartridge.  This Pixy and her accessories are cut at 3 inches.   I hid the face features using my gypsy so I could use Peachy Keen Fun Kiddie Face stamp.  The card is an A2 size and will be donated to Operation Write Home.  I image that some little girl will be ecstatic about getting a cute pixy in the mail from her Daddy.

This card didn't come together like I thought it would but in the end I'm pleased with the design.  The tree is cut from the Meow Cricut cartridge at 4 inches.  I ran the green part of the tree through the Cuttlebug for added dimension.  The farmer and his clothes are cut from Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut cartridge at 3 inches.  I used Peachy Keen Basic Paper Doll Face stamp and a white gel pen to his hair, hat and clothes.  I used chalk to make grass and the sky.  I made the sentiment on my computer.

This card was so fun to make!!  I used the card feature function on Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge to cut the card shape at 11 inches.  I cut the pattern paper at 10 inches and cut the ends off to adhere to my card base.  The "Thanks" is from Lyrical Letter Cricut cartridge, cut at 2.25 inches.  I used foam tape on the back of the Thanks to pop it up from the page.  The stars are from the Paper Pups Cricut cartridge, it's a part of the border feature and cut at 1/2 inch.  I used pop dots for the stars as well.  I thought this card looked like a tootsie roll.  My inside sentiment says "You are the sweetest".

Here's an close up:

Hope you enjoyed seeing how I used five different Cricut cartridges to make these three card projects.

Hope to see you again soon!  Have an awesome day!

25 Days of Christmas- Animals

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Today's 25 days of Christmas project theme is Animals.  I am showing you two different projects.  A card and a food items.

Here are my projects....

This is a 6x6 card.  I used dark blue cardstock for the base, a green cardstock matting my pattern paper.  The dog house and the dog are cuts from Every Day Paper Dolls.  The house is cut at 4 inches and embellished with stickles.  The dog is cut at 2.5 inches, Peachy Keen Critter Stamp and embellished with stickles.  The Christmas lights are from Create A Critter and cut at 1 inch.  I made the Yappy Howlidays sentiment on my computer.

My second project of the day are homemade dog treats!

I made these treats using oil, water, peanut butter, wheat flour and oats.  *My dogs LOVE these!*

Since I am giving these treats away as gifts, I made a tag to go with them.

The Wag-O-Meter comes from Paper Pups and is cut at 1.75 inches.  I used stickles to make the centers of the a, g, o and e's.  I used pop dots to raise up the arrow.  The dog face is from the Cricut Cartridge Doodlecharms and is cut at 2 inches, decorated with stickles.  I used clear acrylic stones to make the paw print.

My package turned out great!  I used paw print bags, and stapled my tag in the middle.  Here's a look at the whole lot:

Stinkin' cute!!  Hope you enjoyed my projects!

Have an awesome day,
Sheila

My Cricut Craft Room's Christmas in July Blog Hop

Welcome to My Cricut Craft Room's Christmas in July Blog Hop!!  You should have come from Lucinda's blog.   If not please go to http:/mycricutcraftroom.blogspot.com to start from the beginning.

I had decided to make my Cricut creation from the Paper Pups cartridge, which is one of my favorites.  I had intended to make a Christmas card but as I was building my card using my Gypsy, suddenly I had a scrapbook page instead!  In fact, it's my first scrapbook page I've made in over a year and a half.

The pup and presents were cut at 2.5 inches.  I used American Crafts cardstock, which is my favorite cardstock to use with the Cricut.  The Christmas title along the left edge is from a DCWV Holiday Stack from a years past.  The photo mat paw prints came from border punch.

I added a googlie eye to the pup for fun.  The dog bones on the Christmas tree are also from Paper Pups.  I cut them at .5 inches in order to get them to fit on my tree to look like Christmas garland.

I used my black glaze pen to "string" the bones together.

Thanks for hopping by!  Have an awesome day!

Cricut Paper Pups-- Altered notebook

I love this altered netbook!  I used the Cricut cartridge Paper Pups.  I don't recall the measurement of the dog, but I think it was a 4" cut.   I used the polka dotted pattern paper to alter my notebook with.

Thanks for looking!  Have an awesome day.
