Wedding Photo Booth Props- Day 1

My niece was married earlier this month.  Months back she asked me if I would make props for her photo booth.  I'm going to share those props with you over the next few days.

Today I'm showing the tiara's I made.  I made these using Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge.

I added gems and doodled with a white gel pen.

I used stickles on this one, and a blue gen pen.

White gel pen and flower gems.

More stickles, gel pen and gems.

I glued chop sticks to the back of the tiara's and a little washi tape.  I used American crafts cardstock as well as a very thick white card stock glued together to give my tiara's a bit of weight to them.

Thanks for looking!  Have an awesome day.

Theme Day Thursday- Tie the Knot Cartridge

Today's Cricut cartridge for theme day Thursday is Tie the Knot at My Cricut Craft Room.

I used my gypsy to design my card.  The cut is at 4.17 inches.  My pattern papers were from my scrap stash.

It's My Party Blog Hop

Welcome to our Party Decor Blog Hop.   We have a fantastic group of ladies who love to make party decorations and we are excited to share our projects with you today!

If you just happened to find my blog, thank-you so much.  However, so you don't miss awesome projects or the chance to win blog candy, you will want to start at the beginning at http://mincedpaper.blogspot.com.

The timing of this hop was PERFECT for my project! My husband's birthday is Monday, so I made a happy birthday banner for him. The downside is, I had to be creative in taking my pictures so he wouldn't see his birthday banner before his birthday! I used a door to display my pictures, when I use my banner on Monday, I will display the banner on a wall in our dining room. I didn't want him to see it before his big day.

I created my banner on my gypsy. I used Art Philosophy for the banner and Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge for the monograms. The four critters on the ends of the banner are from Create a Critter while the the birthday chick is from Once Upon A Princess cricut cartridge.

I did use foam tape to pop up the monograms. I used twine that I taped behind my banner to string them together.

Hope you enjoyed my project!

BLOG CANDY is a $20 gift card to Michaels. Woot woot!!!

To win, all you have to do is comment on each of the designer's blogs. Following everyone's blog isn't required but we sure do appreciate it when someone new follows our blogs. The winner will be announced on http://mincedpaper.blogspot.com on April 27th.

Up next is Vanessa!

WYEGW- Monogram cards

For today's WYEGW project I am making my Mother's Day gift for my Mom.  It's a set of Monogram cards, blank on the inside.

I used Tie the Knot cricut cartridge, "monogram" function.  I cut them at 2.53 inches in two different colors.  I paired my monogram with a white embossed background.  These are super easy and makes a great gift!

Be sure to check My Cricut Craft Room for more WYEGW projects.

Have an awesome day!
