2011 Tacoma Humane Society Dog-a-Thon

Every year I participate in the Humane Society's Dog-a-thon walk with Patti, Buster and Belle (when she's not in heat or having pups! She's missed it three times!).  This year I'm trying a different tactic to drum up donations.  I made some yummmmmmmmmy sugar cookies to give in exchange for a $5 donation.

I used all scraps in making the labels.  I had the clear dog bags from previous projects.  I'm very pleased with how they turn out.  Sure hope they all sell!

Thanks for stopping by.  Have an awesome day.  Woof!

My favorite picture of Buster-- Dogzilla style!!

I love this picture of Buster!  He was probably about 2 years old when I took this.  I bought the Dogzilla costume in Hawaii, I couldn't wait for Halloween to get here so he could wear it.  From the moment I put it on him he totally HATED it! LOL...he's never minded me dressing him before but this was too much for him.  I put the hood up before I took this picture.  His expression is totally one of, "WTF Mom??!!"

Buster & Belle playing around

After taking five pictures in a row I struck gold when they both stood still and looked at me for this shot.  Belle was playing with her favorite toy, a $1 plastic squeaky bone from Michaels.  Whenever I tell her to go get her toy, this is what she'll come back with.  She loves to play fetch outside with her toy and me.

I need to scrapbook this picture!  =)

King of the Castle, house and your heart!

Buster Boo is the King of my Castle, my house and my heart!  He's the first little boy dog I've ever had and he's been such a sweetheart.  He's so loving, spoiled and just about perfect.  He's another inspiration behind a lot of my scrapbooks.  When I go to make new books, I think about how I would want them to look for my own pets.  They continually keep me in ideas with their shenanigans!

This adorable dog bone shaped album is 10x5.  Front of the album says "King of the Castle"  There are 18 pages including front and back.  Your family will cherish this scrapbook for years to come.

Themes include:
  •  My Story
  •  Got Treats?
  •  Dog Tired
  •  Life is Ruff
  • Spoiled Rotten
  •  Walk?
  •  Member of the Family
  •  Playtime
There is room for wallet sized photos and spots for journaling memories.  Each theme has 2-3 spots for photos.
