Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!
Hope Santa has treated you well today.  More importantly, hope you make wonderful memories with your family that you'll cherish for a lifetime.  After all, that's what Christmas is really about.

Here are the last of my holiday sugar cookies I made.

I decorated matching mittens.

A bunch of wet on wet icing technique cookies.

I loved making these trees.  Next year I'm going to practice my snowflakes to improve them.

Thanks for allowing me to share my holiday sugar cookies with you.  Have an awesome holiday and enjoy your family time.

Snowman Cookies

Today I'm sharing cookies that I made for the holidays. I used a Kopykake machine to beam a Paper Smooches (after I got permission from Paper Smooches) image onto a cookie to decorate using royal icing.

These cookies were so much fun to make and make perfect gifts for my co-workers and friends.

Have an awesome day.  Eat a cookie!

I made lemon sugar cookies shaped like snowflakes.

I packaged my cookies in a basket bag covered with snowflakes.

I made a tag for my cookie plate.  I added brad snowflakes to one side.  The other side I stamped a banner thank you from the Stamps of Life.  Added some Paper Smooches snowflakes.

Added my tag with twine!

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 11

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 11 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!  This year I'll be giving loaves of banana bread as gifts for some.  Today's project, I made two tags to go on my bread.

This tag is a small wooden clipboard.  I covered it with pattern paper, stamped Merry Christmas along the bottom.  The image is from A Muse, and happens to be one that cracks me up!

This tag was made from a craft inventory type tag.  I inked the edges, added a bit of pattern paper and cut out a Unity Stamp Co snowman.  I stamped 'tis the season on the bottom.

I added this to the back of both tags!  I used twine to wrap around my bread and attach the tag.

Up next is Jillian!

See you tomorrow with the last Holiday 2012 project!  Have an awesome day.

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop- Day 3

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 3 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!

My love of baking is right up there with my love of crafting.  I combine my two loves frequently.  Today's project is crafting up my holiday cupcakes!

I made peppermint chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting.  I used A|Muse studio cupcake companion stamp and die set.  The December stamp is not a part of the stamp set.

Don't they just look yummy??

I sprinkled crushed up candy canes on top of the cupcakes.

Thanks for hopping with me today!

Up next is Jillian!

See you tomorrow with another new Holiday 2012 project!  Have an awesome day.

Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree

I posted pictures of this on facebook a few weeks back.  I made this tree from the Williams Sonoma build a tree cookie cutters.  I iced them with royal icing, added edible pearls and waited 24 hours for the icing to dry before stacking the stars to make a tree.  I LOVE it!!

Yes, it was as yummy as it looks.

Thanks for looking!  Have an awesome day!

25 Days of Christmas - Cookies

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Here is my project....

Today's 25 Days of Christmas theme is Cookies.  I am showing a food item for as my project.

I bought my cookie box at Dollar Tree.  I filled the box with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies.  YUM!!   2 dozen 2 inch cookies fit perfectly in the box.  I added yellow curly ribbon around the box.

I made a tag to go along with my cookie box.  I used the Cricut cartridge Tag, bags & boxes.  I cut my tag with the shadow at 4.5 inches.  I used black American Crafts cardstock for the shadow.  The pattern paper for the tag is from a DCWV holiday pack from the past.  I inked the edges of the pattern paper with colorbox chestnut roan.  I made the stocking full of gifts from the Winter Frolic cricut cartridge, the cut is 3 inches.  I used Close to My Heart Celebrations stamps for the "to" and "from".

Here's a close up of the tag:

This makes a great gift to give!

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day.

Birthday Celebration Princess Style times Two

My favorite two little Princesses recently had a birthday!  Their birthday's are two weeks apart.  The Princesses Mom decided to have a combined birthday party.  I volunteered to bake a cake for their party.  I made a huge cupcake cake and sprinkled yellow and pink sugar on top.

Knowing these two adorable Princesses like the same things I decided to make their cards very similar to each other.  I used Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge.  I cut the Princesses at 3.5 inches.

I made the sentiments on my computer.  I blinged up their tiaras with some stickles and stitched along the edges.

Another view of the cake from the top.

A good time was had by all!  I needed a nap after spending two hours partying with 8 little girls!  LOL

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day!

Hamburger Cupcakes and Sugar Cookie French Fries

A couple of weeks back I was skimming through a magazine while watching tv when a picture of a hamburger cupcake caught my eye.  I thought they were the cutest thing I've seen in a while and immediately decided that *I* could easily do that!  I went right to google and searched on hamburger cupcake.  I found that I'm only about two years behind the trend. LOL!

I found most of my inspiration from Bakerella blog.  I've searched through her blog before in the past, she's great!

Last week was my co-worker's birthday.  No better time than now to try my hand at the hamburger cupcakes!

They were YUMMMMMMMMMY!!!!!  I will be doing this again!

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day!
Sheila
