Some Days All You Need is a Warm Bed....

Welcome to my first blog post in over a year!  Amazing how time can quickly go.  I had a health struggle that took a lot of 2016 away from me.  I'm doing great now and back to crafting on a more regular basis.

I do love my dog stamps.  This one is from My Favorite Things.  I used copic markers to color in the dog image.  I used a Pretty Pink Posh die set.  On the inside I used distress inks to make my background pink color, added some water to get the distressed look.  Then I used glitter paste with a star stencil before adding my image.  The sentiment is from the same dog stamp set.  3 Pretty Pink Posh sequins finishes off my card.

Have an awesome day and thanks for visiting!

Do I smell CAKE?

Hello there!

Time sure does have a way of flying by.  I haven't done a blog post since January 21st!  I have made a ton of cards, just didn't take the time to take pictures and blog.  I'm ready to get back on a schedule and I have some fun and exciting plans for the future!

This card was so fun to make!  I used a lot of new products I recently purchased.

The scallop frame and the sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh.  The image, which is soooo adorable and my favorite stamp in the whole set, and the sentiment is from Gerda Steiner Designs.  I colored the cute monster with copic markers and I heat embossed the sentiment with Ranger super fine white embossing powder.  The white rectangle was cut from the Lawn Fawn stitched rectangle dies.  And lastly, I used my Simon Says Stamp polka dot stencil with Ranger Grape Soda dye ink pad to make the background.  The pattern paper comes from a Doodlebug paper pack.

Have an awesome day!
Sheila
