25 Days of Christmas- Christmas

Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.

Here is my project....

Today's theme is Christmas.

My 25 days of Christmas project is to show a project using the Cuttlebug.

I made a 6x6 Christmas card.  I used a yellow American Crafts cardstock base.  I used the "Merry Christmas" cuttlebug embossed folder.  Because I used a 5.5 x 5.5 piece of green cardstock I had to emboss the card in two halves.  I matted the green embossed cardstock with a piece of black cardstock.  I used red cardstock and Christmas pattern paper scraps for the strip across the card.  The ticket and the sentiment are from A*Muse Studios.  My cute birdie is from the 3 Birds on Parade Cricut cartridge.  I cut the bird at 3 inches.  I hid the facial features with my gypsy so I could use Peachy Keen Critter Faces.  The snowflake in the upper left corner was made using the Cuttlebug.  I embossed white glittery paper with the snowflake folder then I hand cut out the big snowflake in the center.  I popped up the snowflake using pop dots.

Here's a closer look to see the embossed detail:

I'm loving this card!  I'm going to make a few more just like it with different Cricut cuts to use as my personal Christmas cards this year.

Thanks for visiting.  Have an awesome day!
Sheila
