Fireman- Everyday Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge- Missing You card

You're never too old to play with Paper Dolls!  I made this fireman before I got my fun Peachy Keen face stamps.  I outlined the fireman's outfit with a white gel pen.  I cute my fireman at 3.5", most of my cuts from this cartridge are always at 3.5".

I added some ric rac ribbon on the bottom.  The sentiment was made on my computer.

This card is going to find a new home through Operation Write Home.  I imagine that there will be a very happy little boy out there somewhere getting this card from his Daddy or Mommy while they are apart.

Colorful Thank You! Card

I admit I'm a color junkie.  I love bright colors.  Green and orange currently being my favs, but just about anything bright will catch my eye.  So many of my cards have bright colors since that's what I like!  I used a critter from the Create a Critter Cricut Cartridge (try saying that three times fast), added a little stickles to his antennas.  The solid green strip of paper is embossed and the Thank You! sentiment is a stamp from the $1 bin at Michaels.

Thanks for looking!  Have an awesome (and colorful) day!

2 Paw Prints Dog Bone Shaped Scrapbook

It's been a while since I've posted one of my doggie creations!  Truth is, it's been a long time since I've even made a new doggie creation.  I've been feeling the itch lately, I have ideas running through my head that will soon have me digging through all my doggie papers.  I made my first dog bone album five years ago, since then I've made about 30 others.  My original one is still in awesome condition!

Check out my 2 Paw Prints shop to see the Dog Bone shaped Scrapbooks I have available for sale.

Altered composition book using Cricut Paper Dolls Cartridge and Blog Bunny Hop Winner!

For the first time in over a year I joined a swap on cricut.com!  The swap was a girly girl composition book.  I started with lining both sides of my book with American Crafts dark pinkish/purpleish cardstock.  I added a strip of pink/yellow striped paper then pink and brown bubble paper.  I randomly placed bling on my bubble paper inside the bubbles.  I used my Cricut to cut out a cute little inner tube girl from Cricut Paper Dolls (not sure if it was Everyday or Dress Up).  I added a pink ribbon along the edge of the book.  I hope my swap partner likes it!

I had a great time this weekend with the OWH bunny blog hop!  The winner of my blog candy, as picked by random.org is:  #10 Teresa!  Teresa send me an email with your address and I'll get your candy in the mail this week!  Thanks to everyone that visited my blog over the weekend and made comments.

Have a great day!

Operation Write Home Bunny Blog Hop!!

Welcome to Operation Write Home Bunny Blog Hop!
You should have arrived here from Pauline's blog, if not you can start the Bunny Blog Hop here.

I am SO EGGCITED to be a part of Operation Write Home Bunny Blog Hop!!  This is the first time I've ever participated in a blog hop as a blogger.  I've been blogging since the beginning of the year, and it's becoming a bit easier!  I have really enjoyed sharing my cards and crafts with the world.

This bunny came from The {Stamps} of Life collection for month of February.  I saw these stamps for the first time last November at CKC Seattle and totally fell in love with them.  I signed up to be a monthly club member and have not been disappointed with any of the stamps received.

Check out the Operation Write Home Blog for the upcoming deadlines for cards.  Remember our cards need to be there before the holiday arrives so our hero's can get their cards back to friends and families!  March 18th is the Easter deadline and it's coming up fast!  Hop on over there for more details!!

I made this Sweet Chick card especially for the Bunny Blog Hop!  It's a cricut Create A Critter chick, I added some stickles to her head and feet and, of course, added some fun googlie eyes!  I embossed the white background with a cuttlebug folder, added a piece of fun scrap paper that I tore and inked.  The Sweet Chick is a new stamp I recently got from My Pink Stamper collection.  I added a bright pink ribbon to the bottom.

Thank you so much for hopping by!  Before I send you off to your next destination, I have some blog candy to offer!  Chipboard Shape Stickers from Piggy Tales, the Simple Simon Collection.

To win the blog candy, leave me a comment telling me what your favorite Jelly Belly flavor is!  Mine is Dr Pepper.  If you don't know what a Jelly Belly is or have never tried them, your favorite jelly bean flavor will work.  I'll use random.org to produce a winner and announce the winner Monday March 7th.

Don't forget to follow me if you want to keep up with my blog.

Your next stop along the OWH Bunny Blog Hop is Gina.

Enjoy the rest of the hop!

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #32

I missed Sparkle's challenge last week because I was on vacation!  My husband and I went on a four day cruise from Long Beach, CA to Ensenada, Mexico.  We had a good time, it would have been a great time if the weather cooperated!

This week I'm using Cruisin' Chloe as my stamp of choice.  My mission lately has been to empty my huge drawer of paper scraps.  I found some pink striped paper that would go well with Chloe's pink car.  I used my punches for the Hey there circle and the scallop behind it.  I added in a pink ribbon to make it look like a lollipop!  It's a pink overload! LOL.  I also used a punch on the green background paper behind Chloe.

Thanks for looking.  Have an awesome day!
