You make me smile

I'm so happy with how this card turned out!  The sentiment really does put a smile on my face.  There's nothing like the innocence of children.  The yellow background paper was embossed with the cuttlebug.  The prince frog is a cricut creation with stickles used on the crown.

Birthday Card

Happy Birthday!  I used my cuttlebug swirl embossing folder (quickly becoming my favorite!) for the background.  The candles are pattern paper that I cut into 3 inch squares.  I used yellow stickles to outline the flame.  I stamped Happy Birthday and added ribbon.

Cute doggie card for the day

The quality of my picture isn't the best but the card sure is cute!  I absolutely love this stamp.  It's part of "The Stamps of Life" set.  I colored the doggie in with two different brown copics.  I'm practicing the blending, I'm getting a bit better with each attempt.

The reason I love this particular stamp so much is that one of my favorite doggie poses is the slight tilt to the head they do while they are trying to figure out what you're saying.  Totally cracks me up! =)

This card is one of many I've done lately that are being sent to Operation Write Home.

My Retro Card Challenge

Last weekend I went to a stamping event at Impress in Tukwilla.  Four of us won the the exact same chipboard set.  We decided to use the same four pieces and display our cards.  I debated on what sentiment I was going to add, I finally decided it was time to booooogie!
