Wishing there was some snow.....
so I could make my own snowman! Last year the neighborhood Princesses and I made a snowman in my front yard. Sometime during the night a cruel hooligan came through and decapitated our snowman! Poor princesses....ok, so I was more upset then they were. LOL
Thanks for visiting! Have an awesome day and play in the snow if you have some.

Sugar Cookie Christmas Tree
I posted pictures of this on facebook a few weeks back. I made this tree from the Williams Sonoma build a tree cookie cutters. I iced them with royal icing, added edible pearls and waited 24 hours for the icing to dry before stacking the stars to make a tree. I LOVE it!!
Yes, it was as yummy as it looks.

Grandma's Christmas Gift
Earlier last month my Mom gave me a mission. Her gift for Grandma this year was to be a Valentine's Day themed wreath to put on her door. I looked around the blog-o-sphere and found some really cute wreaths made with rosettes.
Have I made a rosette before?? Noooooooooo....but I know I can do it! After watching some you-tube videos and playing around I finally had my "ah-ha!" moment and figured it out.
If I had it to do over again, I would do a few things differently but overall I'm extremely happy with it! I sure hope Grandma feels the same!
Thanks for looking. Have an awesome day.

An apple a Day.....
This is a card I made for a Doctor. I wondered when I made it if I would be the only one to think it was funny.
It's a birthday Card. The apple is from Create A Critter cricut cartridge. I added googlie eyes. Yeah, scary I know. ;)
The sentiment was made on my computer. On the inside of the card it simply wishes Happy Birthday. The card base is 6x6.
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

Birthday Card Using Birthday Bash Cricut Cartridge
There are two back to back work birthdays this week. This is one of the cards I made. The card base is 6x6. The party dog is from Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge. I popped the dog up with foam tape for added dimension. Sorry, I don't remember what size I cut the dog. I doodled with a white gel pen around the cardstock.

25 Days of Christmas- Ornament
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.
Here is my project....
I made a 5.5x5.5 card using American Crafts green cardstock. I matted striped pattern paper with black cardstock, and a strip of 1.5 inch pattern paper with a 2 inch black strip. I made my ornament using Jolly Holidays cricut cartridge. I cut the ornament at 4 inches. The dark red piece was then sent through the cuttlebug to emboss with small dots. The green piece was also sent through the cuttlebug with a plaid embossing folder.
Here's a closer look at the ornament:
It's a very clean and simple Christmas card! Have an awesome day and thanks for looking.

Some Odd Girl Gift Bag
This past Saturday was my monthly craft group day! We did a secret elf exchange....was tons of fun! I recommend elfster.com if you're having a secret gift exchange of any kind.
I decided to decorate my gift bag with a Some Odd Girl digi. I made the digi fill my 8.5 x 11 page and then colored with copic markers. The background paper is from a DCWV holiday paper pack. I made the rosettes by hand, something I recently learned how to do.
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

25 Days of Christmas- Snow
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.
Today's theme is Snow. I am showing a project using Peachy Keen Stamps.
Here is my project..
This card is 5.75 x 5.75 inches. I started with a blue cardstock base. I added a red mat to my blue snowflake paper. The snow angel and the winter fun sentiment are from the Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge. I cut the sentiment at 2 inches and the snow angel at 3 inches. I used 1/2 inch wide eyed kids face from Peachy Keen for the facial features. I sewed around the entire card in a zig zag pattern. I embossed the white cardstock with cuttlebug swirl pattern, tore and inked the edges and stacked them on each other. My attempt to make it look like snow. :)
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

Celebrating the 12 days of Christmas - Crafty Contagion Style
Today the Crafty Contagion group is sharing their take on the 12 days of Christmas. I was given the 8 maids a milking.
A few weeks ago when I saw the Bugaboo freebie was an angel cow I just *knew* that was going to by my 8 maids a milking card! I enjoyed coloring my cow with copic markers. I experimented using different blacks/greys and finally settled on C6. I used brown twine on the bottom.
Have an awesome day!

25 Days of Christmas- Animals
Welcome to Erica's Craft Room
25 Days of Christmas,
with 25 Cricut projects a day.
Don't forget to stop by Erica's blog to see 24 more projects today....
and every day in December.
Today's 25 days of Christmas project theme is Animals. I am showing you two different projects. A card and a food items.
Here are my projects....
This is a 6x6 card. I used dark blue cardstock for the base, a green cardstock matting my pattern paper. The dog house and the dog are cuts from Every Day Paper Dolls. The house is cut at 4 inches and embellished with stickles. The dog is cut at 2.5 inches, Peachy Keen Critter Stamp and embellished with stickles. The Christmas lights are from Create A Critter and cut at 1 inch. I made the Yappy Howlidays sentiment on my computer.
My second project of the day are homemade dog treats!
I made these treats using oil, water, peanut butter, wheat flour and oats. *My dogs LOVE these!*
Since I am giving these treats away as gifts, I made a tag to go with them.
The Wag-O-Meter comes from Paper Pups and is cut at 1.75 inches. I used stickles to make the centers of the a, g, o and e's. I used pop dots to raise up the arrow. The dog face is from the Cricut Cartridge Doodlecharms and is cut at 2 inches, decorated with stickles. I used clear acrylic stones to make the paw print.
My package turned out great! I used paw print bags, and stapled my tag in the middle. Here's a look at the whole lot:
Stinkin' cute!! Hope you enjoyed my projects!
Have an awesome day,
Sheila
