Cookies Make Everything Better Blog Hop
Welcome to the Cookies Make Everything Better Blog Hop! You should have arrived from Christine's blog. To start at the beginning, go to Lisa's blog.
I *love* to bake! Here is one of my more favorite batches of cookies to make. I admit though, it's been years since I last made this cookie.
These are Butterscotch Pecan Crisp cookies. The recipe actually calls for Walnuts, but I'm on a total Pecan kick so I substituted. =)
I am starting my own home bakery business in the very near future. My plan is to package up a few of these cookies and give away as holiday gifts PLUS a little promoting of my baking skills.
The recipe came from this cookie book.
The stamp is from a paper pizazz set.
Do you think pecans are the new Walnut?? Hope you enjoyed my cookie project!
Up next is Vanessa! I can't wait to see what she has baked up!
Have an awesome day and eat a cookie!
Sheila

I love pecans in cookies - I soak my pecans first water for around 1 hour -squeeze out the water in a towel - then spread out to dry - pop them in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes until a bit crisp - then they are ready for my recipes - thanks for the hop - http://ilikepaper01.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteSince i can't bake with nuts for my family, i wonder if these would be as good without? Thanks for sharing, and i wish you the best in your new venture!
