It's a cupcake kind of weekend...for many reasons! Today I am participating in a cupcake blog hop. You should have arrived from the ever so talented
Lisa of Honeybearz Designs.
If you just stumbled across my post and would like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to
Bernice's Sweet Escape!
In addition to being the cupcake blog hop weekend, this is also my birthday weekend. The card I made for the cupcake hop is a card for my birthday....to me, from me.
I love to bake....cupcakes, cookies, dog treats, brownies, cakes....etc. I paired my baking girl from the Cricut cartridge Everyday Paper Dolls with some cupcake pattern paper. It's hard to tell in the photo but I did cut out two of the cupcakes and popped them up with dimensional tape to make them stand out, in addition to the cupcake my paper doll is holding in her hand. The solid blue cardstock are scraps that I cut with a nestabilities die. I used twinery twine to wrap around the cardstock. My paper doll is cut at 3.5 inches, the hair and clothing are all from my scrap stash. Paper Dolls are a great way to cut down on your scraps hanging about!
Here is a sample of some cupcakes I've baked in the past month!
Don't those just look yummmmmmmmy??!!!
Your next stop along the Cupcake blog hop is
Martha from A Scrapping Time. Enjoy the rest of your hop and everyday is a good day to have a cupcake! =)
