Today is letter "R" day at My Cricut Craft Room. I've made a card using Robotz Cricut Cartridge.
The picture doesn't do this card justice. The card turned out really cute, but I don't think the picture shows that at all. My card size is A2. I designed my robot on my gypsy and sized him at 3.59 inches. I used the gypsy functions to hid the eye features knowing I was going to use googlie eyes. I used foam tape to pop up the blue section. I doodled with a black and white gel pen. I made the sentiment on my computer.
I'll be donating this card to Operation Write Home. Operation Write Home is a group of crafters that make blank cards to send to the troops, who then send the cards home to their families. Check out their blog for all their information.
Welcome to our Party Decor Blog Hop. We have a fantastic group of ladies who love to make party decorations and we are excited to share our projects with you today!
If you just happened to find my blog, thank-you so much. However, so you don't miss awesome projects or the chance to win blog candy, you will want to start at the beginning at http://mincedpaper.blogspot.com.
The timing of this hop was PERFECT for my project! My husband's birthday is Monday, so I made a happy birthday banner for him. The downside is, I had to be creative in taking my pictures so he wouldn't see his birthday banner before his birthday! I used a door to display my pictures, when I use my banner on Monday, I will display the banner on a wall in our dining room. I didn't want him to see it before his big day.
I created my banner on my gypsy. I used Art Philosophy for the banner and Tie the Knot Cricut cartridge for the monograms. The four critters on the ends of the banner are from Create a Critter while the the birthday chick is from Once Upon A Princess cricut cartridge.
I did use foam tape to pop up the monograms. I used twine that I taped behind my banner to string them together.
Hope you enjoyed my project!

For today's WYEGW project I am making my Mother's Day gift for my Mom. It's a set of Monogram cards, blank on the inside.
I used Tie the Knot cricut cartridge, "monogram" function. I cut them at 2.53 inches in two different colors. I paired my monogram with a white embossed background. These are super easy and makes a great gift!
I just love these WYEGW! Gives me a chance to use more cartridges in ways I would never expect. Overall Forever Young cricut cartridge is a very girly cartridge but I made mine manly!
As soon as I saw Outlaw Luka I knew one day he'd be mine. My card is 5.5x5.5 inches. I colored Luka with copic markers and hand cut him. Don't you just love the purple hair ends?? My attitude tag came from Forever Young cricut cartridge, cut at 1.59 inches and using the "tag" feature. I doodled with a white gel pen.
Last July was Cow Day #1, last October was Cow Day #2 and today is Cow Day #3! Today I'm sharing Cow Day with my friend Danni at Danni's Dreams. We are planning on more theme days in the future. If you don't already, follow her, she's *AWESOME*.
I have three cow cards made especially for Cow theme day.
This cow image comes from High Hopes stamps. I colored them with copic markers. The sentiment is from The Angel Company. I added the stars for bling. This card will be donated to Operation Write Home.
This image and sentiment are from The Angel Company. The sentiment is stamped on a die cut from nestabilities. I also embossed the die cut for the first time, really makes a difference! This card will also be donated to Operation Write Home.
Now, for my favorite Cow Card........
I admit that I didn't design this card myself. I watched a YouTube video a while back that showed a card similiar to this one and I LOVED it! The barn and cow are from Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. The fence is from Paper Dolls Cricut Cartridge. The grass and the clouds are from A|Muse Studio. Love that grass die! The card is 5.5x5.5.
Don't forge to check out Danni's blog to see her cow day creations!
Don't forget to comment along the way on all of the blogs today and tomorrow to be entered to win the Cricut cartridge that Erica is giving away today.
Winners will be announced on her blog on Tuesday!
My projects have a theme! Unintentional, it just sort of happened that way. My theme is babies. I used five different cartridges....CTMH Art Philosophy, Paper Dolls Dress Up, All Mixed Up, B is for Boy, and Baby Steps.
The Rocking Horse card uses Paper Dolls Dress Up and CTMH Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridges. The card base uses Art Philosophy cartridge, page 63. I used the card (cut at 5 inches), layer 1 and the square are both cut at 4.53 inches. The rocking horse comes from Paper Dolls Dress Up, pg 36 accessory and is cut at 4.88 inches. I used my white and black gel pen to doodle around the edges. I used crystal, glam pink and cinnamon stickles to decorate the rocking horse.
This card uses Baby Steps Cricut cartridge. I cut the outfit at 4 inches, using a white gel pen to doodle down the sides and the top of the pocket. The card base is 6x6. I glued down blue gems in the corners.
This card is so adorable! The base is 6x6. I used All Mixed Up and B is for Boy Cricut cartridges. Baby and girl were cut from All Mixed Up at 1.47 inches. Zebra is from B is for Boy and cut at 4.41 inches. I used light purple twine to wrap around my pattern paper.
