The Nifty Fifties Cricut cartridge has a lot of fun images to pair up with sentiments. I paired up the bowling pin and ball with a sentiment from The Angel Company. I bought this particular stamp set from TAC just for this stamp alone! LOL....it's so me. =)
I paired up this cut with some star background paper. I'm pleased with how the bowling pin and ball pop up from the stars. The hugs to you sentiment stamp is a $1 Michaels stamp. I added a heart embellishment from my stash of stuff.
Thanks so much for looking! Have an awesome day.

Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge #50
Seems like it's been months since I played along with Sparkle Creations Rubber Stamps Challenge! Last month I had one that I colored to participate with but ran out of time. =)
The challenge was to follow a sketch, and believe me that sometime is very challenging to me. LOL I used Swimming Lucy and paper from my scraps drawer. The sentiment is a freebie I picked up somewhere along the way.
Thanks for looking! Have an awesome day.

OWH- Virtual Cardmaking Blog Candy Winner--
What a great weekend! I hope everyone enjoyed the virtual cardmaking party. I loved seeing everyone's fish bowls! I got frustrated with trying to leave messages on some blogs because of blogger issues. I looked at all the fishbowls, even if I wasn't able to comment.
I used random.org to find my winner. The winner is entry #4. While Amber wasn't happy with her card, hopefully she'll be happy with her blog candy winnings! Amber send me a message with your address. Congrats!!
Have an awesome day!

There's something Fishy going on -- Operation Write Home 4th of July Weekend Virtual Cardmaking Party
Welcome to Operation Write Home 4th of July Weekend Virtual Cardmaking Party! Woot woot!! I'm excited to get to be a part of the card challenges.

Click on the above to go to the Stars and Stamps Blog to be linked to the challenges.
My challenge is for you to make a card with a fishbowl on it. Here is my sample:
My fish bowl is from the Animal Kingdom cricut cartridge. I cut the shadow feature in black cardstock, the fishbowl in yellow and the water in blue. The blue cardstock was ran through the cuttlebug to be embossed with little dots for more texture. The grass and the fish came from the Everyday Paper Dolls cricut cartridge. The fishbowl is cut at 3.5 inches. The grass cut is 1 inch, the fish are 1 and 1.25 inches. I added detail to the fish with a white gel pen.
The Best Fishes sentiment is from My Pink Stamper. The background paper is old Doodlebug paper I have in my stash.
I have blog candy!! One lucky participant will win piggy tales shape chipboard and 2 cuttlebug embossing folders. Be sure to check back on Monday to see who is our lucky winner winner!
I hope you have as much fun making your fishbowl card as I had making mine! I'm looking forward to seeing your creativity!

The Angel Company-- You are one of a Kind Card
This little girl is too cute! She's from The Angel Company, thanks to Danni for shoving a catalog in front of me. ;) I colored her with copics, cut her and the red background out with nestabilities. Added a yellow flower with a heart brad. The sentiment came with the stamp.
The colors in this card scream to me 4th of July with all of the red, white and blue that pop out.
This card is heading to Operation Write Home.
Thanks so much for looking! Have an awesome day.
