12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 7

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 7 of 12 days of fabulous holiday projects!  Today I made another quick and easy gift giving idea.  I made a pouch of cardstock to put a package of hot chocolate and a candy cane.

The stamp is from Hero Arts.  The label was created on my Cricut machine.

I used a scoring board to make the bottom of the pouch.  I used brads to hold the pouch in place.

I used a decorative punch to get the scallop edge.  Not including the green cardstock base, all the other papers were scraps!  Woo hoo!!  Gotta love a project that doesn't create scraps. :)

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 5

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 5 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!  I made treat boxes!  This time of year, there's are so many people you can give a simple treat to as a way of saying Happy Holidays.  These candy boxes were made with A|Muse Studio candy box die.  The snowman and tree cut outs are separate dies that are included with the candy box set.

No, you are not imagining anything....those are two different polka dot patters!  (just checking to see if you are paying attention here!)

A view of the top of the candy box.

I cut a piece of clear overhead projector paper to cover the holes.  I filled the boxes with skittles!  A little plain, yes, but truly CAS!  :)

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 4

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 4 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!  I wanted to make something fairly quick and easy to give to people I encounter at work without it being overly expensive.  I came up with a candy cane gift.

I used Spellbinders Label Sixteen die to cut my two shapes.  I stamped Merry Christmas and the Christmas tree, then I ran both the red and the white cardstock through the cuttlebug to emboss the dots.  I attached the red paper to the back of the candy cane with Washi tape (that you'll never see, but hey, I know it's there!) and used double sided tape to attach the white cardstock to the front of the candy cane.  I don't know the name of the stamp, it's one that has been in my stash for years.

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop- Day 3

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 3 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!

My love of baking is right up there with my love of crafting.  I combine my two loves frequently.  Today's project is crafting up my holiday cupcakes!

I made peppermint chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting.  I used A|Muse studio cupcake companion stamp and die set.  The December stamp is not a part of the stamp set.

Don't they just look yummy??

I sprinkled crushed up candy canes on top of the cupcakes.

Thanks for hopping with me today!

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 2

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 2 of 12 days of fabulous Holiday projects!  Today I made these cute Skittle Treat Toppers.

The treat bags are 1x8 inches, filled with skittles (or M&M's work very well...only M&M's don't last long enough to craft with when my husband is around).  My toppers are from the Create a Critter 2 Cricut cartridge.  The monkey and the tree are cut at 2.53 inches.  I added some doodles to the monkey with a white gel pen.

I felt like they were a bit plain, so I wrapped twine around.

12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop - Day 1

Welcome to the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Theresa's blog.  You can start the hop from the beginning at Lisa's blog.

It's day 1 of 12 fabulous days of holiday projects.  I made a Snowman Wreath for my Grandma.

I used three different shades of blue felt and white felt.  I cut my felt into 2 inch squares, folded each square from corner to corner and then pinned into my foam wreath.

I used Winter Frolic Cricut cartridge to make my snowmen.  This one is cut at 4.06 inches.  I hid the face cuts using my gypsy, and stamped the face with Peachy Keen's Happy New Year 1 1/8 inch face stamps.  I doodled with a white and black gel pen.  I used a copic W-1 marker to outline the face stamp.  This snowman has been into the spiked hot apple cider!

This snowman is cut at 3.71 inches.  I used a white gel pen on the mittens, scarf and earmuffs.  The stamp is a PK Snowmany Faces, 1 1/8inch.  I used W1 copic and a pink copic (oops, didn't write it down!) for the rosy cheeks.

This snowman is cut at 4.53 inches.  White gel pen used on the hat and mittens.  PK Snowmany Faces stamp, W1 copic and pink copic for the cheeks.

The snowflake is from the Cricut Cartridge "Christmas".  It's cut at 3.71 inches.  I cut the shadow and the main cut.  Then I flipped the snowflake (using my gypsy) and cut the reverse.  My snowflake is now 2 sided. I used blue and white twine to hang my snowflake from the top of the wreath.  In the center of the snowflake, I put a clear jewel.  I also inked the edges a bit in blue ink.
